About Me

Me among the trees in Lebanon, TN

I have forty-six years of current life experience, but I am tapped into my past and future selves, so sometimes it feels like I am millions of years old. I have also lived and died many times even in this one lifetime. I do have Pluto conjunct my Sun in my twelfth house, and Pluto opposite Eris. Plus I am a Scorpio Rising with my North Node in Scorpio in my first house. It is transformation or die for me: metaphorically speaking.

If you don’t know what any of that means, that’s okay. It is astrology-speak. I love astrology. It has become a very big part of my life. It has really helped me to understand who I am on a very deep level. I wish I would have known about it and how to work with it my entire life. I went to college and got a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, but astrology has taken my understandings of the psyche to a level I didn’t know was possible in my twenties. I have overcome so many addictions, obsessions, and traumas through my use of astrology, art therapy, and communing with the natural world.

I am an artist. I take photos. I draw (what I like to call doodle art). I write every day, sometimes several times a day. Art has been so therapeutic for me, allowing me to tap into levels of myself that were/are inaccessible consciously, allowing me to authentically and vulnerably express myself. I love art, and in its purest essence, art is what connects us on a deep and mythic level with one another. True art emanates from deeper layers of self, and that is why it can be used as a therapeutic tool. I actually started writing a children’s book series called Aribelle of the Forest, which started out as inner child work, and is now eight books in an ongoing series that is entertaining my niece, other family members, and friends.

I love Mother Earth, and I am a fierce protector of nature and all of my kin, including my fellow human beings. Nature is Divine Love expressed, and when you connect with that, you will look at the world and how you interact with it in a completely different way. Everything is alive with intelligence and vitality, and when I go out every day for my walk, I connect in with that essence that fills me with a deep joy for Life. I am a vegetarian because I find that it helps me stay more grounded in my body.

I am extremely open-minded and insatiably curious. My Moon and Mars are conjunct in Gemini in my eighth house, after all. My favorite subjects are astrology, psychology, energy dynamics, nature, ancient wisdom, and spirituality. My spiritual tools include: journaling, drawing, walking outside and communing with nature, using rocks and crystals, sacred ceremony, tarot, and astrology to navigate the cosmic energies. I am perfectly imperfect. I do not have all of the answers, and I will never pretend like I do. I continuously ask questions, and I am seeking to improve myself every day. As long as we are alive, there will be higher and deeper levels of ourselves to reach for and embody. I can be called many things: daughter, sister, friend, woman, human being, inner guide, wise woman, daughter of the Goddess, astrologer, counselor, artist, healer, and many things besides.

If I had to sum up Sacred Astrology in one sentence, I would say it is the elevating of consciousness through the embodiment of the highest potentials as shown by the unique astrology of an individual. The astrology I practice is modern, western, tropical, and geocentric, with a mix of evolutionary, shamanic, humanistic, archetypal, alchemical, intuitive, and esoteric astrology concepts mixed together. I am tapping into soul wisdom, so as I study, I remember more and more of the astrological wisdom that lives within me.

Astrology is a story of a process, which is called life, growth, and evolution. We are each in a process of unfolding and becoming more of who we are, and it continues until you take your last breath.

I hope you get something inspiring and/or empowering from my website. May you know that there will never be another you, so be the most you and live the life you came here to live. Knowing your astrology can help you do that.

May you be blessed.
