Weekly Sacred Astrology, March 12-18, 2022

Sun conjunct Neptune on March 13, 2022 at 6:43am CST

March 13, 2022: Sun conjunct Neptune at 22° Pisces. The Sun is our vitality, what fuels us, and it is conjunct Neptune, the planet that connects us to Spirit and imagination in the sign of the Cosmic Ocean of Oneness from which we all come from and to which we all return. There are positive and negative ways to work with all energies. At the extremes of this energy, you could feel emotionally overwhelmed, you might easily fall for delusions, illusions, and propaganda, you could try to escape and check out of your body and physical experience by abusing substances, eating your feelings, getting lost in distractions like TV or social media, and any number of other things. On the other side, however, this is an energy that can help you feel connected to all of life in a blissful state of oneness, you can channel this energy into creation: works of art, writing, your garden, cooking a meal, etc.,  and you can utilize this energy to do deep healing work as you feel even more love and compassion for yourself and others.

March 14, 2022: Peak Venus Portal: Venus at 7° Aquarius opposite Moon at 7° Leo. This is a beautiful time to contemplate the Leo – Aquarius axis, the sign of the one who shines authentically from their heart (Leo) with the sign of the one who contributes their unique genius to humanity (Aquarius). Venus is infusing Aquarius with heart wisdom and is illuminating the Moon in Leo, which to me, is the desire that we all have in our core to shine our brilliant light, to express our essence, to the fullest. Everyone wants to be seen and applauded for who they really are, and the world would be a better place if we all cultivated that unique essence so it could shine forth. The world needs all of us to shine!

March 16, 2022: Sun at 25° Aquarius in a t-square with the North Node at 25° Taurus & South Node at 25° Scorpio. How interesting that the Sun is separating from its conjunction with Neptune only to move into a square with the Lunar Nodes. I have been deeply contemplating the Nodes, and I have come to realize that you don’t move away from the South Node at all. You embrace the South Node and the North Node equally, using both of their energies in a dynamic dance to create something totally unique. The South Node in Scorpio can help you do deep shadow work, help you plumb your emotional depths so you have a real understanding of your motivations, while the North Node in Taurus can help you become more embodied, help you appreciate the earth, nature, and your body, and embrace the pleasures that life can offer. The Sun can help illuminate for you where you can do this dance with more ease and grace. Pay close attention to how you feel in your body now.

March 18, 2022: Full Moon at 27° Virgo 40’ at 2:17am CST. The Moon is in Virgo opposite the Sun in Pisces while they are each in a t-square with the Galactic Center in Sagittarius and Lilith in Gemini, forming a Grand Square in the mutable signs. How can you allow yourself to surrender more to the ever-changing tide of life with curiosity and wisdom? How can you be the priest/priestess, living every day with sacred devotion and honoring your connection to all of life? The Sun and Moon are also making harmonious aspects to Pluto in Capricorn (sextile and trine), as well as the South Node in Taurus (sextile and trine) and the North Node in Scorpio (trine and sextile). Lean into the healing energy of this Full Moon and you can make tremendous leaps of empowerment by becoming more fully embodied.
