Venus enters Cancer today, joining with Mars, who has already been transiting through Cancer since April 23. What a beautiful opportunity to go into our hearts and assess what truly brings meaning to our lives. Your roots, your home, your family (family, to me, is who you surround yourself with and rely upon for nurturance, support, guidance, and connection), your past (you wouldn’t be who you are today without your past), all of these things are the foundation upon which you build your life. You cannot build a home without a foundation. You cannot grow into the fullness of who you were born to be without strong roots. Venus is only in Cancer until June 27, when it moves into Leo, so take advantage of these next few weeks to really care for yourself, nurture yourself, bring beauty into your home and family, and contemplate with compassion your home and ask yourself if it is a true reflection of what is in your heart or if there are some changes that need to be made. We are in Mercury retrograde in Gemini, after all, so this is a great time to review, revise, rethink, and reimagine your life.
