Mercury enters Gemini

Mercury enters Gemini on May 4, 2021

Mercury enters Gemini. Mercury enters its domicile in Gemini. To me, Gemini is the sign of understanding. It is a temple you enter, and if you enter with curiosity, open-mindedness, even a playfulness and innocence, you will emerge from Gemini with a greater understanding of yourself and the world around you.

Mercury is our communication, perception, and way of interacting with the world around us, and it is at home in the air sign of curiosity, beginner’s mind, networking, and storytelling.

Whether you consciously perceive it or not, we are all telling a story with our lives. What story are you telling? In the fast-paced sign of Gemini, Mercury is quick and nimble, but because Mercury is going retrograde at 24° Gemini on May 29, whatever themes come up for you now will come around again when it goes retrograde and then turns direct again on June 22 at 16° Gemini.

Important Dates:

May 29: Mercury goes retrograde at 24° Gemini; it is also conjunct Venus

June 10: Mercury Cazimi (interior conjunction with Sun or in the heart of the Sun) at 20° Gemini

June 22: Mercury goes direct at 16° Gemini

Because Mercury is going retrograde while it is conjunct Venus, I feel like this Mercury retrograde cycle is going to aid you in communicating with heart (Venus). How can you bring more heart wisdom into the way you communicate, how you perceive others and the world, and how you interact with others and the world? What stories have you been telling yourself that aren’t loving? How have you closed yourself off to open and heart-based communications and interactions? How can you feel more and think less?
