Pisces is the last sign in the zodiac. It is the end after a journey around the wheel of life, and yet it heralds a new beginning as well, as the circle never ends and the wheel goes round and round. Pisces is surrender, letting go, dissolving back into the oneness from whence we came and to which we will return. We are born into this physical world from the waters of our mothers’ wombs. And we will return to the womb of the Great Mother when we leave this earthly life.
Pisces is the surrender that comes when you have exhausted your ego and willed your way into the emptiness of an unfulfilled life, when all else has failed and you feel like you can’t take another step and you fall to your knees. Pisces is the way back to Spirit and Truth. Pisces is the gateway to the collective consciousness of which we are all an integral part.
Pisces is the imaginal realm where true connection, creativity, and truth lives. When you tap into that, your ego begins to dissolve as you connect to your own inner essence. You stop turning to the physical world for self-validation and self-worth and turn instead to the deep and unending well within yourself. That well is as vast and mysterious as the ocean. Pisces is the deep dark mystery of life. Pisces is the gateway to all form, as form begins with a dream, a spark of imagination, an inspiration. We are all dreaming life even as Goddess dreams us.
