Leo: The power of expression

Oh how good it feels when we express ourselves. Whether through a painting, a sculpture, a home-cooked meal, a poem, in our journals, through our blooming garden, through a project we are passionate about, through playing, dancing, making love, and the ultimate creative act of giving birth to another soul, we are expressing what we are feeling in a physical way. This is the realm of Leo, the brave heart. The one who is courageous and proud to be who he/she is and let the world see it. The one who rules over themselves and knows their own hearts. The one who radiates their light because it is the most natural thing in the world to do.

Authentically expressing does not come easy in this world that can be so quick to judge, condemn, and even vilify the one who stands proudly in their uniqueness. But when you are coming from a place of heart-centered love for yourself and life, the power of your authentic expression radiates from you like the rays of the Sun. Leo is associated with the Sun. The Sun just shines every day no matter what, and so Leo shines every day no matter what. In order to fully contribute to the world in an authentic and meaningful way, one must know their heart. Then one must have the courage to follow the guidance from their heart. From there, radiating your unique brilliance just happens. When you are shining, the world can fully bask in the brilliance of who you really are and be a better place for having you in it.

I express what is in my heart.

This is the eighth part of a twelve-part series where I go over the twelve signs of the zodiac, Aries through Pisces. I have already posted Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio.
