The Moon: The nurturer

What is nurturance anyway? Nurturance, to me, is love. Love is what grows not only healthy and thriving individuals and relationships, but creative art projects, and even beautiful flowers in a garden. Everything starts with self-love. Your Moon sign represents your inner, emotional self; how you nurture yourself and how you need to be nurtured.

For example, my Moon is in the sign of Gemini. I derive a lot of emotional comfort and inner security from communication and curiosity. I love to talk and write about my feelings, and I am deeply curious about why I am the way I am. I am also very curious about others. I love hearing people’s stories. I process my feelings best by thinking about them and by finding patterns. This is why I write in my journal every morning and even more if necessary.

In its highest expression, the Moon is the Nurturer. A nurturer plants seeds (desires) and tends them with unconditional Love, has an infinitely open and loving heart, and trusts that their seeds will sprout in Divine Time.

I am an astrologer, healer, and artist. I love nature, creativity, and learning (especially anything that helps me understand myself, others, and the world better and live a more fulfilled life). I am very heart-centered and open-minded and believe that we are all sparks of divinity in form.
